Rapid Defense Systems
Rapid Defense Systems, located in Janesville, WI, is dedicated to teaching the paradigm needed to readily handle any assult, from theft to rape, with confidence. We cover all ranges of combat, i.e. kickboxing, trapping, ground fighting, weapons, and mass attack. This is possible through Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and the streamlined street fighting system consisting of the previously mentioned arts, the RAT or Rapid Assult Tactics. With the RAT at its core each art is important in developing practical responses to real life scenarios.
Rapid Defense Systems founder and head instructor, Charlie Barribeau, is a Certified Executive Instructor in Paul Vunak's Progressive Fighting Systems (PFS). Paul Vunak is considered by most to be the authority on Jeet Kune Do today. He has taught the RAT sustem to countless police agencies and military groups such as the F.B.I., C.I.A., Navy Seals, and Marines.
With this curriculum our focus is bringing Military technology to everyday people so they can realistically defend themselves in an altercation.
